Ways to Serve
Christmas Volunteers. If you are available and would like to help during any of the Christmas services, email Patter Cross, firstname.lastname@example.org. We need people to help as greeters, prep for the Moravian Love Feast, parking volunteers, cleanup and more.
Quarantine Care. As Covid numbers increase, more people are having to quarantine due to testing and exposure. We want to help with the stress and isolation. If you know of an individual or family in quarantine, or would like to provide confidential prayer support to others, email Lydia Carlino, email@example.com.
Adopt a Cardinal Kid. Cardinal Kids provides palliative and hospice care to children. Please help us by donating items for these children; arts/crafts, movies, coloring books, puzzles, books, games, toys, bath products, hairbrushes, lap blankets, and sensitive wipes. We will collect donations through Sunday, December 20 in the Rowe Welcome Center. For more info, email Katie Elder, firstname.lastname@example.org.
A Helping Hand. We are looking for a team of men and women that are willing to help others with tasks like trimming shrubs, small moving jobs, painting, and easy maintenance. There is no obligation for any specific job or time, but if you want to help or learn more, email Todd Byrd, email@example.com.
How Can We Help?
If you or someone you know needs assistance (errands run, medications picked up, transportation, food, etc.) OR if you are willing/able to help others in these ways, contact Patter Cross, firstname.lastname@example.org or call/text 828.485.7442.
If you or someone you know would appreciate a regular phone call to check up on you/them during this time of social isolation, contact Pastor Lori, email@example.com.
If you have any questions about serving, or have other ideas of how you would like to serve, contact Patter Cross.
