Ways to Connect and Serve

Refresh for Moms. Come connect with moms in all stages of life and be encouraged. We meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month in Bost Memorial Hall from 9:30-11:30am. Join us Nov 10 as Pastor Paul Cummings and Lauren Everley (Preschool Director) speak on Standing Firm in Parenting. We will have refreshments and childcare is available by signup, bit.ly/REFRESHNURSERY.

Date Night. Join us on Thursday, Oct 21 at 6pm in the Althouse Room for a brief talk and then enjoy a date on your own. Sign up for free nursery and childcare by Oct 19, bit.ly/DateNightCorinth.

Wilderness Ministry. Join us for a difficult, 7.1 mile hike at Calloway Peak of Grandfather Mountain on Saturday, Oct 23. We will meet at the church at 7am to caravan. Please bring water, snack/lunch and wear hiking shoes. Email Adam Payne, jadam318@yahoo.com for questions.

Craft ‘n Connect. Bring your craft whether it be scrapbooking, card making, painting, coloring, quilting, crochet, knit, needlepoint, etc., and come to Craft ‘n Connect with other women. Join us the 4th Fridays of each month, 1:00-3:00pm (3rd Fridays in Nov. and Dec.) in Mitchell House Rm. 106. Email Patter Cross for more information patter@corinthtoday.org.

Operation Christmas Child. Corinth will be collecting shoeboxes full of gifts for kids all around the world. Visit bit.ly/Corinthshoebox for more info or pick up a brochure in the Rowe Welcome Center. Please return filled shoeboxes to Corinth by Nov 14.

Nursery Workers. We are hiring in the nursery for ages 0-5 on Sundays and Wednesdays. This is a paid position. For more information or to apply, email Hannah, hannah@corinthtoday.org.

Habitat for Humanity Apostle Build. Join the local faith community in helping our neighbors in need. No experience necessary. Corinth Apostle Build workday is November 6 from 8am-12pm and lunch is provided. Sign up to volunteer, habitatcatawba.volunteerhub.com/lp/corinth/.

HOPE Garden. We need volunteers of all ages to help in the garden located behind the Mitchell House on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings 8:30-10:30am. Anxiety Support Group — Symptoms of depression and anxiety are the two most common mental and emotional health setbacks. The best ways to overcome these challenges are through education and support. Contact Rachel Hammer, rachelviolam@hotmail.com to learn more.
