If You're Feeling Overwhelmed...

  • Skim these bullets and choose what’s helpful. Trying to do it all will add to the problem!
  • Sit down, breathe, grab a cup of coffee and click here for a word from the Lord (Psalm 46).
  • Click here for a brief video message of encouragement from Kevin Watkins.
  • Click here for a message from Chad Hall about nurturing your marriage during this time of uncertainty.
  • Remember that time with God, time alone, time with your spouse, and fun time with the kids must be carved out first or it won’t happen.
  • Take ½ day, or an hour, or 10 minutes if that’s all you can spare. Write down everything you think you have to do every day. Pray through the list and then prioritize 1-5 in importance. Items that used to be a #1 may now need to shift.
  • If the problem is email, remember you don’t need to read every email, even from Pastor Bob. If it’s NEW or URGENT, he’ll mark it that way. Create a special email folder titled “Check Later.” If it isn’t urgent, move the email there, and check it when you have time.  If you never get back to that folder, it’s OK!
  • If can find 10 minutes, click here to follow along with a deep breathing exercise.
  • If there’s a practical way someone else might help you with an errand or a task, email Patter.
  • If you need a chicken pie delivered to your home for one easy dinner, email Lisa.
